This site is a guide for those who seek more information about the use of Ayahuasca by the shamans in Ecuador. This land is one of the  most beautiful and diverse on Earth, and has also very rich shamanic traditions, as many tribes with different customs and different knowledge of plants live there. There is no doubt that in Ecuador you can still encounter very authentic Ayahuasca practices and have powerful transformative experiences with this plant.

Ayahuasca, also called natem or yahé, is a magical and healing brew prepared from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine (also called ayahuasca, which in Kichwa means "the vine of the spirits") and often other admixture plants. It is used by curanderos (traditional healers, male or female) in Ecuador, Columbia, Peru and other countries in sacred healing ceremonies.

The aim of this site is to help you to get prepared, if you decide to undergo the Ayahuasca ritual, and provide you with various options to drink Ayahuasca safely. Thus we are regularly updating this page with news about ceremonies, conferences and retreats in Ecuador.

The Ayahuasca Ecuador project is not hosting ceremonies nor retreats, it is based on providing information.

Please note that this site has just been created and is still under heavy construction. Please give us more time to fill it with interesting content!

Much luck to you on you Ayahuasca journey in Ecuador!
